In this post I’ll be sharing the progress of my 401(k) as of the end of Q3 2022.
On September 30th, I received my quarterly statement from my 401(k) provider!
Last month I did an update on my Instagram page that showed my 401(k)’s growth from Q1 and Q2 of this year. Now I’m excited to be able to share my Q3 growth with you!
Since this is my first 401(k) ever, I really enjoy seeing the value of my account increase quarter over quarter (even though this market has been giving me lackluster returns).
Currently, I contribute 5% of my paychecks to my 401(k) and my company matches 3% of that.
I closed out Q1 with $790 in my 401(k), which grew to $1,711 at the end of Q2. Now as of the end of Q3, my account is at $2,438.
I’m excited to see where this account will be at the end of Q4 when I receive my next quarterly statement in January, so stay tuned for the next 401(k) update then!
