In this post, I’ll be breaking down exactly how much money I’ve invested into 3 of my investment accounts so far this year.
I actually posted this last week on Instagram, but I forgot to write this post last week and some of the numbers changed, so I made a new graphic with the new numbers:
As of this writing, I have invested $9,957.72 in 2022!
This is the most money I’ve ever invested, and it only motivates me to keep going and possibly even double my amount invested for next year ๐.
Investing a lump sum of $2,000 into my Roth IRA on September 16th brought my total amount invested on the year up to just over $9,900.
Then when I got paid on September 23, $86.54 from my paycheck got deposited into my 401(k) as usual (this is not including my employer match), so that brought my total 401(k) investment as of this writing to $1,557.72.
I’m very proud of my progress so far, and the year isn’t over yet so I’m hoping to reach at least $12,000 or $13,000 invested by the end of the year!
